Organization Background
The Lady Terps ELITE Women's Basketball Program was formed in March 2009 under the leadership of Robert Hildreth. Coach Hildreth has over 15 years of coaching experience on the AAU ond the High School level. Coach Hildreth and his longtime friends, Eizabeth Seton H.S. Coach Jazz Perazic and St. Mary's H.S Coach, Terri Daniels, came together to form the showcase organization of outstanding players from top-ranked high school basketball programs in the State of Maryland. Those high schools include: Bishop McNamara, Elizabeth Seton, Archbishop Spalding, Seton Keough, St. Mary's and Chesapeake High Schools. The Lady Terps had two exceptional AAU seasons by winning the Maryland AAU State Championship Regionals in 2010 and 2009 with a combined record of 17 wins and 0 losses. The team also won the 1st Place Championship in the Columbia Ravens 2009 Spring League with an undefeated record as well. For the 2009 season the team collectively had a record of 68 wins and 5 losses. The philosophies and beliefs of the Lady Terps orgnaization are: honesty, teamwork, education, and college preparation. The primary goal of our organization is to provide exposure opportunities so each player has an opportunity to compete for an athletic scholarship.
The Lady Terps will host the 1st Annual Lady Terps Invitational Tournament in June 2010. Over twenty-four Women's Basketball Teams will be invited to participate in a weekend of great basketball. Teams that would like consideration for the Invitational Tournament are asked to email the Tournament Director, Robert Hildreth at [email protected]. The Lady Terps Invitational Basketball Tournament will be a competitive and premier event of the 2010 summer season designed to host Elite teams from all over the Mid-Atlantic region. It promises to be an exceptional opportunity to compete in head-to-head competition with some of the best teams the East Coast and Mid-Atlantic have to offer. The Lady Terps Invitational also provides a fantastic venue for your team to showcase their skills in a prestigious event, prior to showcase tournaments that are held in July.
